Guitarp Duo is proud to present its adaption of works by Italian composers including "La Strada Suite" by Nino Rota written for Federico Fellini’s films.
Cinema and music form a union of absolute power. Just a few notes of a film soundtrack bring sequences and emotions before our eyes. This magic is in part due to the genius of two great artists: Federico Fellini and Nino Rota. In Fellini's films music represents a sort of added character that is fixed in our memory in the same way as a sequence; likewise every note by Nino Rota seems to transport us to a film set.
In like manner the music of Luigi Boccherini seems to lead us directly into Francisco Goya’s paintings and, through his musical descriptions, night life on the streets of Madrid immediately becomes visual.
