Maurizio Grandinetti, guitar
Since his student years, Maurizio Grandinetti's main interest has been in expanding the musical horizons of his instrument, the guitar. He is currently active as a soloist, chamber musician, improviser and member of Ensemble Phoenix Basel.
His career so far has taken him to many European countries, Brazil, U.S.A. and China, to the most important festivals and concert halls.
As a soloist he released a solo CD with works by John Cage and John Dowland in 2003, which received several prizes and enthusiastic reviews. The arrangements are published by Peters Verlag, New York.
In 2016 "Seek" was published with seven commissioned works for solo electric guitar. In 2019, "Rime" was released with his own compositions and arrangements for the Dux label.
He has played guitar double Concertos with Pablo Marquez and Yaron Deutsch.
Maurizio Grandinetti teaches guitar at the Conservatorio di Musica "G. Verdi" in Como and at the Regional Music School Liestal. 2010 - 2021 he has taught at the International Master Classes of the Hochschule für Musik Köln in Montepulciano, Italy. He is a regular invited professor in the specialised "Master of Performance" in Parma.

Consuelo Giulianelli, harp
she is an honorary member of the Swiss Harp Association and has performed at most important European music festivals (Lucerne Music Festival, Budapest Automne Festival, World New Music Days among others) and in the USA as a soloist and principal harpist in orchestras under the direction of conductors such as Alan Gilbert, Luciano Berio, Pierre Boulez and Jürg Wyttenbach. As chamber musician she has played with Julien Prégardien, Arditti Quartett and Heinz Holliger.
Freshly graduated, she was harp solo of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra; 1996 - 2016 she was harp solo of the Musikkollegium Winterthur and since 2017 she is harp solo of the Kammerorchester Basel.
As a member of Camerata Variabile Basel, Consuelo Giulianelli performed most pieces of the original harp repertoire and she opens her ears to new compositions with Ensemble Phoenix Basel.
Since 2017 her Ensemble Cordaeola (fl, cl, gt, hp) presents “à la carte” programs in the cosy Kulturscheune (culture barn) of Liestal: Persian traditional music, Italian cantautori, Mozart’s Harlequinade, folk music from Grisons are just a few examples.
After a life of partnership and concerts, her Guitarp Duo is planning a triple CD of works for guitar and harp.

Consuelo Giulianelli completed her studies in Verona and Basel with distinction with Mirella Vita and Ursula Holliger; she crowned her preparation with Marielle Nordmann and Pierre Jamet.

For fourteen years she was harp professor at the Stella Vorarlberg Privathochschule für Musik in Austria and 2022 she released the new harp method “Harpsodie” together with her colleague Marion Navarro.
Besides countless CD collaborations, her solo CD Saeya saeya presents her as a harpist and singer. In addition her CD for flute and harp “Lake reflections” was released by Sony Classical in 2016 and has received over five million clicks on spotify.
